Several numerical examples using the CADNA library are presented below.
Examples are also included in the distributed packages cadna*.tar.gz in the examples directory.
Examples 1 to 4 deal with the estimation of the number of exact significant digits of computed results. Examples 5 to 7 illustrate the interest of CADNA for the improvement of the coding of algorithms. N.B.: Do not forget that CADNA computes the number of exact significant digits of any computed result to one digit. Because of the probabilistic aspect of CADNA, the accuracy you obtain may be slightly different. However the same trend should be observed. |
