Title : Structured Factorizations in Scalar Product Spaces Abstract : ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We consider divers structured matrix condition numbers and structured backward errors. We show that for most matrices belonging to Lie and Jordan algebras associated with a scalar product that is orthosymmetric and unitary, there is no or little difference between the structured case and the unstructured case. Hence, for these classes of matrices, the usual unstructured perturbation analysis is sufficient.
